Druzy Agate – Large

A beautiful neutral and ornamental piece. The term “druzy” refers to the tiny glittery crystals that are located on the surface of a host rock, in this case Agate. This particular sparkly appearance is a geological process that can take a very long time, it begins with water carrying minerals to the surface of the host rock, when the water evaporates the minerals are left behind, through a cooling process tiny layers of crystallisation begins to form on the surface. Awarding the host rock the beautiful and very sought after “druzy.”

Druzy Agate is a stone that is associated with love, peace, stress relief, intuition and strengthening of the spirit. This piece really sparkles, its a beautiful addition to any crystal display, or home decor arrangement.
